Oil Painting on Gessobord by Kelsey Weirick
6x6" - 2024

A painting of a soft morning glow of the fields at the Jordan River in Utah behind my parents’ homes. For my childhood, these fields were known for its burrs stuck in our legs, piercing our bike tires, and hiding snakes. Grown, I was able to see they held their own ecosystem: taking care of the animals around it, giving bats a place to hide, and its own yearly fires helping it start fresh.

This painting is an oil painting on 6×6” Gessobord

How to Mount Your Art

Gessobord is an mdf panel that is about 1/8" thick so the best way to hang this up is by a frame! Your typical frame will work - I like to remove the glass for oil paintings.
