About the Artist

Kelsey Weirick is fine artist and illustrator based out of Oregon, specializing in nature landscapes, whimsical fantasy illustration, and photography that explore emotion, movement, and visual storytelling.
Her place within the Art World began in January of 2020 with her first showing at EDGE Art Gallery in Lakewood, CO while enrolled at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design (RMCAD) studying Illustration with an emphasis in Concept Art.
She worked hard to build a foundation in the Colorado Art World while in school to feel ready to "be" an artist once graduated. Kelsey continued displaying and selling art in galleries throughout school until her graduation in August of 2022, also completing commissions of paintings and custom painted items like purses, shoes, and wallets.
In 2024, Kelsey moved her things back to Utah to spend some time traveling and living in her car (while working remote - what a balancing act!), following the most recent state move to Oregon in 2025.
Outside of art, Kelsey truly enjoys time spent on the road and in nature, and this really shows within her bodies of work. The connection to nature has given Kelsey a nudge to look within and without, learning about the layers of experience that we may not see but can feel all around us.
With this background in traveling, living and learning life, it is exciting to see what her place will be in the Art World of the Pacific Northwest!
